POSITION: National Wholesale Operations Specialist – (2400000X)

Description

MAIN MISSIONS

  • Manage daily operational activities linked to the different business lines and manage interconnection accounts.
  • Ensure reconciliation of accounts month by month for all national Wholesale business lines (Voice, SMS, infrastructure sharing, capacity rental, etc.)
  • Implement optimal routing of outgoing traffic (voice and SMS) which takes into account the price/QoS ratio and develop monthly price/volume targets with a view to optimizing termination charges.
  • Update the wholesale database of interconnection agreements (Catalogues, agreements, amendments, MOUs, etc.).
  • Carry out the benchmark of interconnection catalogs and carry out the annual update on time.
  • Develop a model for evaluating the impacts of Capacity Upgrade/Downgrade.
  • Lead the management, implementation and updating of local and international numbering plans.
  • Monitor the cost/revenue benchmark of the different product lines and make routing recommendations and pricing adjustments in order to maintain a direct margin.
  • Lead the commercial relationship as Key account manager on the key accounts under his responsibility.
  • Convene, lead and keep minutes of periodic meetings with key accounts
  • Ensure the traceability and effectiveness of the order, delivery, invoicing, payment of partners, as well as recovery in strict compliance with procedures.
  • Manage disputes to ensure the preservation of Orange Cameroon’s interests.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms and the application of penalties where applicable.
  • Achieve the performance objectives of your portfolio (Revenue, QoS, Partnership, Recovery, etc.)
  • Manage the monetization of business lines in order to avoid loss of income / increase in charges (SMS A2P, inbound, outbound traffic, etc.)
  • Implement the tools and execute the A2P revenue protection strategy, inbound traffic, etc.
  • Implement the tools and execute the cost optimization strategy
  • Monitor the evolution of incoming SMS traffic (A2P, P2P) via SMS Protect in order to detect any unusual behavior of local and international A2P traffic and take corrective actions with the various technical partners (OIC, ANAM and RA).
  • Manage and monitor the implementations of new partners (local and international).
  • Definition and monitoring of anti-fraud actions in agreements with Revenue Assurance/Fraud in order to minimize international bypass on incoming calls) and the implementation of SMS firewall systems (A2P, P2P, SMPP, OLO).
  • Carry out the periodic closing of your activity
  • Execute all procedures necessary for the proper functioning of the activity
  • Develop activity management and monitoring dashboards and guarantee their availability
  • Maintain all documents necessary for your job up to date
  • Report on activity according to the mission and objectives set
  • Prepare activity reports daily / weekly / monthly

Qualifications

Typical training : BAC + 4/5 Telecom Engineer/Marketing/international trade

Minimum experience: 2 years of experience in the telecom environment, particularly in Wholesale
