Residents of Laval and Vaudreuil-Dorion will have to (again) be patient this weekend. Major obstacles are in fact on the menu on the Papineau-Leblanc bridge (A-19) and the Île-aux-Tourtes bridge (A-40 east).

Vaudreuil-Dorion sector

Concerning the Île-aux-Tourtes bridge, the eastbound closure will be in effect between Friday 11 p.m. and Sunday 5 a.m. between exits 35 in Vaudreuil-Dorion and 41 in Senneville.

Motorists will have to take a detour via the A-30 and the A-20 to reach the island of Montreal.

Both westbound lanes of the bridge will remain open.

Laval sector

For its part, the Papineau-Leblanc bridge (A-19) between Montreal and Laval will be completely closed from Friday 10 p.m. to Monday 4:30 a.m.

Motorists heading north are advised to use the Pie-IX or Viau bridges, approximately 3 km away. Those going south will have to take the A-440 to reach the Pie-IX (Route 125) or Médéric-Martin (A-15) bridges.

Mobilité Montréal warns that episodes of congestion are to be expected.
