Friend AYALON. – In Israel, most people see these dramatic events as a new Yom Kippur War. Just two days ago we commemorated the 1973 attack. And what happened was very similar. The attack came as a complete surprise. And the reasons are probably the same. But I think in the long run, when we try to understand our history, the page of 2023 will seem much more serious. This attack will change the face of Israel. This is the first time since the creation of the Jewish state that hundreds of civilians have been massacred, murdered in their homes, on our territory.
