In Plounéour-Ménez, due to the installation of the community care center in the library premises (after work), the latter had to move. She found refuge in a vacant space between the rental accommodation and the home. The development work was carried out by the technical services.

Tuesday January 14, 2025, around fifteen volunteers moved from one location to another using… wheelbarrows! The opening is scheduled for January 22. The municipality has purchased various furniture and the investment cost is around €20,000.

Brighter premises

The eight volunteers and the readers will now find themselves in a space that may be smaller but clearer and better isolated. Note some new features such as networking with the other Morlaix Community libraries and media libraries which will be effective from September. Volunteers will undergo training to familiarize themselves with this new service. All works must be encoded by the end of March. Membership is now free.
