The Loupershouse library-community media library network of Sarreguemines is organizing its first Book Fair on Sunday January 12. This event is intended to be an opportunity to celebrate writing and reading, bringing together literature lovers, authors and publishers.
Nearly 40 authors from Sarreguemines, the coal basin, the Metz region and other departments of the Grand Est will be present. They will offer their works and interact with the public through discussions and signing sessions. Visitors will be able to discover a variety of literary genres, ranging from poetry to detective novels, including fantasy works and even children’s literature.
Renowned guests
The show will be sponsored by Yolande Haffner and Denis Koch, both well-known authors in the region. Yolande Haffner is a writer from Hambach, who has completed two new books The silence of the swallows a family intrigue, and Elana’s Little Wonderful Adventure a fiction for young people. These two works are published under the pseudonym Yolaine Krys.
Living in Lixing-lès-Saint-Avold, Denis Koch has already written more than fifteen works, recorded a CD, organized nearly six book fairs and signing sessions. Both a writer and a poet, passionate about genealogy mainly in search of the roots of his family, he has also published works related to his professional activity.
Children will not be left out with a beautiful place dedicated to children’s literature.
