The book PIECE presents the testimonies in images and texts of around thirty celebrity personalities who have agreed to reveal a “piece” of their life representing for them a place of well-being. A way to lend this environment of well-being to men, women and children affected by illness and to raise funds to improve their daily lives.

A project initiated by Annie Paquin

“The inspiration behind this project came from my parents. The last few years have been particularly difficult for them medically, with two cancers for my mother and a diagnosis of Parkinson’s for my father. Long story short, my family and I spent many hours in the hospital. Without medical research and care, my loved ones would no longer be with us. It is crucial to support the foundations that help these establishments. The best way for me to contribute was to put my passion for photography at the service of these causes that saved my family and could save yours. My hope is that this book brings you a breath of freshness, comfort and happiness. Even through illness, it is essential to have reference points and to find oneself in caring environments. Sometimes, the trials we go through can also reveal glimmers of hope and happiness,” underlines Annie Paquin, photographer and instigator of the project.
