Like every end of year for 12 years, the Babelio site has established its ranking of the most popular Books. A ranking which does not follow that of book sales online and in bookstores: Babelio in fact points out that it highlights the works which have been added the most to readers' digital libraries, on its site. And in 2024, a thriller is required! It is indeed A wild animal by Joël Dicker, released last February by Rosie & Wolfe, which takes the title of the most popular book of the year.

Seventh novel by the Swiss writer, A wild animal is a gripping thriller with crazy suspense, which rose to the top of the sales charts upon its release. The story takes the reader to Geneva, in July 2022, to the heart of a hold-up in a jewelry store.
