The -de-Comminges cultural association held a meeting on November 19 to organize the first book fair in the town. The volunteers thus found themselves around the table in an overall friendly atmosphere as usual. In the presence of Mayor Yves Planas but also of the writer Christian Louis who initiated this show, the latest adjustments to the configuration and logistics of the show were refined. Thus, the poster was validated, as was the selection process for the invited authors who all received a registration form by email, to be completed and returned to the Frontignan cultural association. “There is a lot of enthusiasm and good humor among the volunteers, delighted to welcome this show in their small village,” confides Christian Louis who this time will be on the side of the organizers, just as enthusiastic about the idea. to highlight other local feathers known or too little known. Note that the Facebook group created for this occasion already has more than 1,000 friends in one week and will allow everyone to follow the progress of the organization. Regular posts will give the public the opportunity to get to know the 51 authors who live in Haut-Comminges and the Barousse valley. The list of 20 selected participants will be revealed in the coming days.
