The Adèle-Foli media library hosted the first book and seeds swap with the participation of the municipality, the Friends of the School association and the Foyer rural, without forgetting the network of media libraries.
Indeed, the event took place in the garden of the media library, a garden which has recently been decorated with a bed of Mediterranean plantations.
This place, calm and soothing, was well chosen for this new multi-generational event which was a great success. Adults and children found what they were looking for, exchanged and shared books, seeds, plants and advice. The media library network had made its grain library available. The Friends of the school and the Foyer rural offered drinks, sweets, pancakes and cakes.
Most of the books that did not find a buyer were placed in the book box made available to the population and now located at the top of the esplanade, at the crossroads of avenues de la Gare, de Caux and Achille-Lévère. .
Visitors continued throughout the morning and the success of this first exchange of books and seeds calls for a repeat of the experience.
The next edition should take place at the start of the school year, on a date not yet determined.
