After the great success of previous editions, returns the cultural series “ in the Scenes”the cycle of presentations that unites literature, music and theater in a unique atmosphere, organized by the Gioco immagine e parole association, 33 and the Sepofà Social Cooperative.

The first meeting of the new season will take place Friday, November 15 at 6:30 pm at the Cultural Hub Art 33 (via Bernardino Martirano 17, Naples), with the presentation of “Partenope Plurale – Common stories of extraordinary women » (Marotta&Cafiero publishers) of Deborah Amused et Angelo Orefice. The event will see the participation of the writer Gianni Sollawho will present the book, and the event will be enriched by readings from Giulia Trifarifrom the amateur theater company I Solachianielli, and by the live music of Giorgio Borrellifor an immersive experience that will involve all the senses, in the style of Livres en Coulisses.

“Books in the Scenes” is an initiative that aims to promote culture in all its forms, highlighting not only the work of authors but also the artistic realities that animate the city. “With this new edition of “Livres en Coulisses” we want to continue to promote culture in an inclusive and dynamic way, by creating a dialogue between books, performing arts and the community that revolves around our hub – declare the organizers -. Each appointment is an opportunity to discover new points of view on literature, as in the case of “Partenope Plurale”, which celebrates the strength of the women of Naples through stories of resilience and beauty,” they conclude. .

The presentation of “Partenope Plurale” fits into this context, offering a rich and versatile narrative that explores the experiences of Neapolitan women, between myth and reality, while theater and music amplify the message. Entrance is free until places last.. The book is the collection of 9 life stories of as many Neapolitan women, told through the words of Deborah Amused and the photographic portraits of Angelo Orefice. The protagonists of Rosaria De Cicco has Brunella Seloof Imma Cerasuolo has Marina Rippaare ordinary women, who at a certain moment in their lives have made choices, sometimes very courageous, sometimes difficult, other times wanted with tenacity and strength. These are stories that touch on various aspects of life, motherhood, mourning, loss of work, acceptance of one’s body, conscious and forced renunciations. All aspects that we can identify with or deal with on a daily basis. What emerges are living portraits, linked by a subtle red thread that manages to hold them together despite their uniqueness.
