More than 100,000 books at prices ranging from 1 to 3 euros! This is what is on offer on Saturday October 12, at 13, rue de Curembourg, in the Herveline activity zone, in Fleury-les-Aubrais.

Saturday October 12, the Chapter 2 association renews its exceptional fall sale operation. “These events, which we have long described as exceptional, have become essential events for book lovers,” immediately explains director Aline Baudu-Lambert.

These sales are, in fact, an opportunity for readers of all ages to obtain books at low prices. “More than 100,000 books at prices ranging from 1 to 3 euros,” announces Aline Baudu-Lambert.

Thrillers, youth, comics, history, general literature, this sale, “a mirror of the variety that we have in stock”, also offers rare and old works – at different prices – “among which books on , music including those of one of the founders of the Victoires de la Musique, originally from Orléans, and his vinyl collection. An exceptional sale this Saturday only”, specifies the director. A real “Baba’s Book Cave”.

Exchange and sharing

More than just an opportunity to score good deals, these meetings are also moments of exchange and sharing. “We have around a thousand buyers and a social mix that we rarely encounter elsewhere,” says the director.

“Regulars of course, but also those who don’t dare to open the doors of bookstores or libraries, those for whom the price of a new book can be a barrier, collectors, enthusiasts… It’s quite extraordinary” , she rejoices. “So many moments that remind us why we love books so much and why we created Chapter 2. And which also prove that reading is not lost.”

Practical. Saturday October 12, from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Chapter 2 storage location, 113 rue de Curembourg, ZA de l’Herveline, in Fleury-les-Aubrais.
