From October 15 to 31, 2024, the Lolita Monga Company will take its show “Zistwar Bébèt” to six locations in the Cinor territory for a series of free off-site performances as close as possible to the public. The company and the Cité des Arts will immerse the public in the scariest stories of local heritage, a unique theatrical creation combining traditional stories and captivating music. We publish the press release below.

Inspired by tales, legends and true stories of the island, “Zistwar Bébèt” features two actors and a musician. This fénwar show brings to life stories gleaned from the four corners of the island: The White Lady, Sitarane, stories of ghosts…. Kap kap thrills guaranteed. The show is aimed at everyone, from 10 years old.

This series of six free performances is offered in different places located in the Cinor territory as part of the “Cultural Holidays” system of the Ministry of Culture.

Each performance will be followed by an exchange with the artists, allowing the public to deepen their experience and share their emotions and their stories.

The tour will be accompanied by word collection workshops to collect and preserve the oral stories of the Reunion Islanders.
