Following her notable appearance at Chanteurs maskés, we had the chance to chat with the friendly horticulturist Marthe Laverdière.
She is currently working on a new project.
« I have a new book coming out in the spring », she tells us.
If Marthe published historical novels (The hills of Bellechasse), horticultural books (Gardening with Marthe) and his autobiography (100% nature : Confidences), now the unfiltered comedian promises us something different.
I don’t think people will expect me where I’m going.
She will work again with Les Éditions de l’Homme, but does not want to tell us what the subject of this new work will be. “ I think people will like this “, she says.
In addition to the book, she is also currently working on the second season of Planter avec Marthe. The horticulturist was also very happy with the public’s reception to her show this summer.
« It surprised me to be honest with you. We joined the people. I’ve had a lot of talk about it. People really liked the guests who were there, who came on board, who played the game, even if, sometimes, they more or less liked gardening. They were in it. They had fun. »
The next season of Planting with Marthe will be broadcast next summer on TVA.
