IT’S A PARTY! (AIR KNOWN). From October 11 to 13, the 38th book festival takes place throughout the city of Saint-Étienne. Exhibitions, meetings, signings, conferences, concerts… will punctuate these three days which constitute a major highlight for the city. What about comics then?

Eric Bourgier will be in the spotlight since he created the visual of the event, very Art Nouveau. Likewise, the entire Drakoo team will also be very visible with an exhibition which is dedicated to the Aix label of Éditions Bamboo, with a focus on the series Elfie’s Grimoire d’Audrey Alwett et Mini Ludvinsuccess of this publisher, while carte blanche is offered to Christopher Arleston.
Other author highlighted: Olivier Taduc for his work on the series XIII-Trilogy : Jonesin the specialized bookstore Bubbles and Men.
As in many festivals now where they perform (Colomiers, Angoulême…), the Magic Mirror will be set up to host the festival words on stage.
Many activities around comics will take place, such as a master class on manga by Romain Lemaireauthor ofEverdark (Pika editions), a Battle BD will oppose Steve Baker et Gouma musical reading of Magic Charly by Audrey Alwett or a concert drawn by Nora Moretti on the series The Fairy Garden.
Note also youth exhibitions, around the work of the designer Benjamin Hotfor example, at the Tarantaize media library, or even the famous Little chickens at the Croquelinottes bookstore.
