Rivers. New: two book sheds in the town

The wishes of local elected officials, the work of municipal employees and the participation of a few volunteers were enough to install two beautiful book sheds in Rivières. The first is already in service in the heart of the village, right next to the village hall and near the schools. The second, an old disused bus shelter painted by Julie Albrespy, located at the Aiguelèze leisure center is ready to operate.

Share, exchange, borrow a work freely and for free for as long as you like. Bring it back or keep it. It is everyone’s responsibility to ensure the nature and care of the works, their storage and the good condition of these cabins which have been tastefully furnished for the benefit of all and must not become trash cans or storage rooms.

Each reader can leave a little note in the book they leave to share their impression with whoever takes it after them in order to make these cabins a crossroads for exchange and sharing.

All books are welcome. Choose to bring books that you like, clean and in good condition that you would like to find in these cabins!

“Reading is drinking and eating. The mind that does not read loses weight like the body that does not eat” said Victor Hugo.

Happy reading everyone!
