The town of Ailly-sur-Noye is organizing, in partnership with the Picardy Regional Language Agency, its first book fair in Picardy on Saturday May 4, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., in the village hall.
Ackli Assal, volunteer project manager in charge of promoting the Picardy language in the commune of Somme, is the linchpin of the event: around ten authors (Philippe Leleu, Jean-Luc Vigneux, Christian Manablen Laurent Devime , etc.) and picarizing publishers (La Librairie du Labyrinthe, Engelaere editions, Ch’Lancron editions, Association Les Coudriers) will be present.
The day will be hosted by Françoise Desmarest. This ambassador of the Picardy language and culture, hosts with equal enthusiasm and panache the show “T’es d’min coin” on France Bleu and organizes the “Tchots suppers”.
On the occasion of the show, two films will be screened in the council room of the Ailly-sur-Noye town hall: At 2:30 p.m., Les Cousins at ch’Lafleur, a work by Laurent Devime, directed by Leu Wen Delabie and produced by the Picaresk company, will present the world of puppets in the Somme, Wallonia, Brussels and Flanders; at 4 p.m., “At the roots of Ch’Lanchron”, a documentary by Pierre Verdez produced by the Picardy Regional Language Agency, will focus on the creation and history of the Ch’Lanchron newspaper, on the occasion of the 44 years of the magazine.
