Hirsonnais Alain Sangla will sign his book about his youth this Wednesday, October 2

On Wednesday October 2, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Gilbert-Arduin room, impasse du Château in Hirson, Alain Sangla will dedicate the book he wrote about his youth entitled “Entre Cantegrit et Cantegrouille”.

In a simple, lively style, full of freshness, this former associate professor of economics and management who taught at Hirson recounts the years of his youth, in the Landais village of Josse where his maternal family lived. Born on August 5, 1940 in , he spent an active but happy youth, surrounded by his family, far from the roar of the cannons. He wrote his childhood memories ten years ago now, for members of his family.

During a meeting of club 41, Frédéric Macaigne encouraged him to have this text published and took charge of the layout and editing. His daughter, who is a painter, created the cover illustration.

Today Alain Sangla is spending a happy retirement in his house in Hirson, in Thiérache that he loves, with his wife Monique, who gave him two daughters, Brigitte and Monique, who gave them six grandchildren. But, they regularly return to the Landes where Alain hastens to put on his large beret, to run the countryside.
