2024 Guggenheim Fellows Announced

This year, 17 photographers received the Guggenheim Fellowship. Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded more than $400 million in scholarships to more than 19,000 individuals, including more than 125 Nobel laureates, members of every national academies, Pulitzer Prize winners, Fields Medal winners, the Turing Prize, the Bancroft Prize, the National Book Award and other internationally recognized distinctions. The wide range of fields of study is a unique feature of the scholarship program.

The Foundation focuses the talents and instincts of Fellows, whose passions often have broad and immediate social impact. The founding book by photographer Robert Frank, The Americansis the result of a cross-country tour supported by two Guggenheim Fellowships.
