As our favorite campers leave their vacation village tonight for an even sunnier destination, was this episode really filmed in Morocco? We have the answer!

Camping Paradis is back tonight on TF1! The opportunity for fans of the series to follow their favorite characters for a brand new adventure in Morocco. Filmed under the direction of Laurent Ournac, this episode is a flashback that takes us back to the precise moment when Tom and Stéphanie (Juliette Chêne) fell in love.

In order to satisfy the curiosity of their daughter, Léa, the couple delves into their memory to explain how they ended up getting closer. Questioned by our colleagues from Pure Mediathe interpreter of Tom Delormes confides that it was “of a new project and a unit to be built.”

But then, did the filming really take place in Morocco? The answer is yes: “We filmed in the Jemaa el-Fna square in Marrakech, we filmed in the souks of Marrakech, it’s a little more complex than filming in a small campsite in the south of France because the Jemaa el-Fna square is lively 24/7.”

He continues: “There are people all the time, even more so during the day, with the tourists it’s very, very dense. It’s a bit like filming in Times Square in New York, it never stops.”

“There’s noise all the time!”

“Arriving with a film crew and hoping to empty the square, block the streets, that’s not done. You have to deal with it, shoot quickly, there’s noise all the time. When filming, for the sound, we always ask for silence around.” says the actor bluntly.

“These are slightly more extreme filming conditions where you have to be efficient. That’s the instruction I gave to the actors: don’t hesitate about what you’re proposing because you’re going to have to film quickly and well.” he reveals.

One thing is certain, this new episode entitled “Les Bleus au Maroc” should please fans who were probably wondering how Tom and Stéphanie met.

Mr. Parizot will be part of this new episode of Camping Paradis

And without revealing too much, know that Mr. Parizot (Patrick Paroux) will be there, which promises us some great moments of laughter. So see you tonight from 9:10 p.m. on TF1!
