The German riders Anna-Lena Niehues, Regine Mispelkamp and Heidemarie Dresing won three more medals at the end of the dressage competitions at the Paralympics in Paris.

Niehues achieved a personal best with Quimbaya in the dressage freestyle in Grade IV with 80.900 percent despite a small mistake and won her first silver. Mispelkamp also came second in Grade V with Highlander (80.100). Dresing (76.127) also won bronze in Grade II with Dooloop. The favorites were unbeatable.

Niehues, Mispelkamp and Dresing collected German dressage medals four to six on the last day of competition in Versailles. The trio had already finished third on the podium as a team. Niehues also won bronze in the first individual competitions, and Mispelkamp won silver.

As with her third place on Wednesday, German champion Niehues only had to admit defeat to Dutch favorite Demi Haerkens (83.840), while bronze went to Kate Shoemaker (USA/80.170).

Mispelkamp, ​​who was the last rider to push her teammate Isabell Nowak into fourth place, had to give way to the unbeatable Michele George. The Belgian excelled with 81.470 percent.

At the end of the equestrian games, Dresing was also celebrating her long-awaited individual medal. The European champion was only defeated by the US Paralympic champion Fiona Howard (81.994) and the British rider Georgia Wilson (79.374).
