Two recent polls (April 2025) shed light on the state of Swiss public opinion. A priori, they do not bring many surprises. They confirm that the majority of those questioned are in favor of the bilateral route (58%). And that they also support the package of agreements negotiated in December 2024: 47% of people surveyed say they are favorable to it, against 35%.
The “without opinion” are still 18%. It is understandable that many people have no clear position yet. Opinion training has hardly started. The parties stand at a distance. The Federal Council communicates very carefully. And the text of the treaty is still not made public.
