A broke out this Thursday, April 17, 2025, around 9:30 a.m., rue Saint-Alban, in Pléneuf-Val-André (Côtes-d’Armor). A car parked under a carport, between two houses, caught fire.

It is a complex intervention and a large fire described the firefighters on site. In total, 45 fire soldiers were present at the strongest moment of the fire. They came from the barracks of Erquy, Lamballe, Plancoët, Saint-Brieuc, Le Perray, Pordic as well as Pléneuf-Val-André and were notably equipped with a large scale and five fire spears.

A person was relocated

The start of a fire spread was in one of the carports adjoining houses. The other home was partly destroyed. According to our information, a person has been relocated.

The fire ended up being circumscribed. The rescue intervention lasted until 1:30 p.m. The firefighters also carried out prevention actions, in order to prevent recovery from fire to take place in neighboring hangars, one of them housing a company of painting.

The road concerned by this fire has been closed as a safety measure throughout the morning.
