After a goalless first third, but with a lot of camade breaststroke, Gambrell opened the brand for monsters at the end of the second period.
-The Monsters then scored twice in the middle of the third period, thanks to Gambrell and Roman Ahcan, who also raised aid on the first two goals of the match.
Quebecer Laurent Dauphin then offered an answer for the Rocket, in vain. The Monsters goalkeeper, Jet Greaves, made sure to close the door in the following minutes.
He finished the meeting with no less than 36 stops. On the side of the Rocket, Cayden Primeau pushed 22 of the 25 launches directed towards his net. It was a first match in this series for him after Jacob Fowler was between the posts in the first two.
The series will resume Tuesday evening, still in Laval.
