A Quebec family was saved thanks to the heroic gesture of their neighbor, while a fire was raging in their accommodation, on the night of Sunday to Monday.
Awakened with bursts by an explosion and thick smoke, both parents and their two children, aged 7 and 10, found themselves trapped upstairs.
The family took refuge on the balcony to flee the flames while waiting for the arrival of the firefighters, while the father went to the roof to try to recover a scale in his court.
Alerted by the noise, a neighbor rushed outside and when he saw the blaze, he decided to get on the roof to help the children go down.
