The FV hospital has just officially announced a new investment of $ 8 million for the Cyberknife S7 system, the only robotic radiosurgery system in the world integrating artificial intelligence (AI) at present.

The FV Hospital thus becomes the second establishment in Southeast Asia, and the first in Vietnam, to invest in this technology.
This is the first major investment announced by the FV Hospital since January 2024, the date on which the Thomson Medical (Singapore) group officially finalized the acquisition of the establishment.
During the announcement ceremony, the Dr. Jean Marcel Guillon, managing director of the FV Hospital, said that the Cyberknife system is currently the only Radiochurgery robot in the world, developed by the American group Accuray, allowing non -invasive treatment of different types of tumors in the human body.
The robot will be transported by sea and assembled in Vietnam. The first treatments could start in 18 months, in November 2026.

Still according to Marcel Guillon, the Cyberknife robot is only the first part of a project to extend the hy Vong oncology center. He said: “In addition to the Cyberknife robot, the oncology center will receive other investments in advanced treatment solutions, with the aim of making Hy vong one of the most famous cancer treatment centers in Asia “.
The total amount of investment for the complete modernization of the Hy Vong Center has not been revealed, but Jean Marcel Guillon said that after these investments, the treatment capacity of the FV hospital should increase by 35%.
Nguyên Thanh Duy, Director General of TD Tech, Ajurgy representative in Vietnam, said that Cyberknife is the only radiochurgery robot in the world capable of personalizing the treatment of cancer in real time, a technology known as real -time radiotherapy.
Finally, excellent news announced by the Dr. Jean Marcel Guillon: Patients treated with the Cyberknife robot at FV Hospital will benefit from 45 to 50% of treatment costs by health insurance.
