This statue of the Cat was taken back at the end of November. The place was then given to a proud fir tree for the holidays. The latter was, in turn, removed this Thursday, January 16.
The exhibition of the spiritual character of Geluck on a fairly well-used roadway gave ideas to the councilors of the old then the new college (same MR majority but different composition). Why not make this place a regular exhibition space and host works by Lasno or Brabant artists?
Around ten artists came forward

A regulation must first be made to govern this selection and establish the terms and conditions for installing the works. It is currently being written.
A rotation of works
A system of rotation between the statues would be retained. This would make it possible to promote as many artists as possible and break up any possible monotony among passers-by and local residents.
-The duration is still under discussion. It could be a year. In any case, it would be long enough to avoid repeated logistical interventions for municipal workers.
In exchange for making the place available and the visibility offered, the sculptors would lend their works free of charge.
This regulation will soon be submitted to the municipal council for validation. The first sculpture should be installed “at the beginning of spring”.
