No sooner said than done! In record time, the old wooden construction was dismantled and a new one was erected in exactly the same location. Although its dimensions are identical, it presents new, even modern, characteristics. For example, there is pine wood painted white, which extends inside on the floor, walls and ceiling, creating a contrast with the dark brown cladding. The large panoramic window, which occupies the entire west facade, also offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding pine forest.

” Opening “ et “restraint” as the leitmotif of the project
For the owners, the openness was somehow an integral part of the concept, including structurally. Thus, the living room and dining room form the heart of the wooden house, extending up to the roof, which gives it the impression of a much larger space than it actually is, with its 17 approximately square meters. The kitchen, also designed as an open but autonomous space, revolves around the living room thanks to a large opening. The furniture, all made from pine – from built-ins to kitchen cabinets and table tops – creates an additional visual connection. Only individual pieces of Japanese-inspired furniture, such as chairs and vases, are stained black and contrast with the refined color palette.
