During this first trial, the civil parties had recounted the way of working by Robert E, recalls Le Figaro. Patients came for problems with eczema, warts or even patches on the skin, hoping that this undeclared magnetizer could help them. On site, according to the complainants, the former nurse dimmed the lights, locked the office, asked them to undress completely, and passed his hands over the women's chests and other private parts. Two of them accused Robert E. of digital rape.

The accused, who always contested the accusations, believing that his professional actions were misinterpreted, had appealed. His trial opens this Wednesday. He faces twenty years in prison.
