Excerpts broadcast:
We broadcast the songs “Batwanes Beek” by the Algerian diva Warda al-Jazairia and “…Baby one more time” by Britney Spears, as well as Pablo Picasso on the microphone of Robert Sadoul in 1963. We also hear Jean-Philippe Toussaint in 2012 as well as the extract from the film’s trailer Red Road d’Andrea Arnold (2006).

Guest’s musical choices:
The song “Flow, my tears”, by Philippe Jaroussky and Thibaut Garcia: “It’s such a beautiful voice. It’s a song about mourning, of great sadness. It is both the fall and the rise.

Discovery of the guest:
The test The Eloquence of Tears by Jean-Loup Charvet, which is also the title of his next exhibition at Château La Coste: “It is a book of great poetry, which focuses on the tear in baroque music. I came across this book and I find each sentence to be of great beauty. They are nuggets, diamonds. The idea that the tear compensates for the absence of words is very interesting to me.
Claire Tabouret also shares the film Red Road d’Andrea Arnold (2006) : “It’s a complex film, in which there are no heads or tails, no good guys and bad guys. Everything mixes together, it’s a very dark thriller, which mixes the subjects of desire and sexuality with death, revenge and mourning. It’s a film that also interests me because it is filmed by a woman who films sexuality extremely well.
