The final Beauce Art International Sculpture Symposium concluded this Sunday morning with a presentation of the works created by the artists of this 10th edition.
The rain did not stop those interested who traveled the cycle path to discover the last ten sculptures of this major project. In total, there are now 108, throughout the city of Saint-Georges.
« The first person I would like to thank is Paul Baillargeon. He was the instigator, the thinker and the visionary to say that we are going to have a Symposium over 10 years », Underlined Martin Rancourt, outgoing president of Beauce art, who also thanked many involved.
Subsequently, the new president, Frédérique Lapointe, explained that the new mission of Beauce art would now be to promote this museum journey first across Quebec, then internationally.
The artists of this latest edition then presented their work each in turn, along the route.
