The results
The mobilization of 15,222 more voters than in 2022 benefited all candidates (or almost)… But in different proportions. It is above all the outgoing deputy who benefits from it. Eric Ciotti (41,01%) wins 9,538 votes in 2 years and is once again in the lead. Except this time he will have not one, but two opponents in the second round.
The union of the left has proven to be profitable. It allows Olivier Salerno, NFP/LFI candidate, to garner 6,239 more votes than his substitute in 2022. Graig Monetti, the candidate of the municipal and presidential majorityis therefore relegated to third place (22.79%).
Which second round this Sunday?
This was one of the questions this Monday. With more than 12.5% of those registered, Graig Monetti can take part in a triangular without betraying the rule laid down by the leader of his Horizons party, Edouard Philippe, who does not call for withdrawal from the RN or LFI. Graig Monetti calls on Olivier Salerno to step down
