IN PICTURES – Politicians and artists made the trip to Père-Lachaise this Thursday to say goodbye to the yéyé icon, who died on June 11 at the age of 80.

How to say goodbye to you… Close or simple admirers gathered this Thursday, June 20 at the Père-Lachaise cemetery to pay a final tribute to Françoise Hardy, who died on June 11 at the age of 80 following a long illness . Jacques Dutronc, her husband from whom she was separated – but not divorced, and their son Thomas, arrived shortly before 3 p.m., soon joined by singing personalities. Among which Sheila, or Julien Clerc, who collaborated with the icon yé-yé on the piece Leave me a placebut also Matthieu Chedid who arrived alongside his father Louis, or even Marc Lavoine.

The political class, too, responded. We notably spotted the former President of the Republic Nicolas Sarkozy, accompanied by his wife Carla Bruni, or the Minister of Culture, Rachida Dati, closely followed by Brigitte Macron.

The funeral ceremony, which was intended to be sober and intimate, was also able to count on the presence of the director Nadine Trintignant, Anouchka Delon and some television figures, like Michel Denisot and Mireille Dumas.
