Welcome to the largest pop-up studio in the world. For 4 days, the Grande Halle de la Villette becomes temple of photographyto portray this branch of art from every angle. Photographers, videographers, content creators and professionals are expected for this unique event, which pays homage to the history of this practice on more than 4000 m2 of exhibition.

Exhibitions, do you want some, here they are

Like every year since 2007the Salon de la Photo reveals to us all the secrets of this practice, and it also involves a spotlight on talented artistspresented in various exhibitions. And this time is no exception, since we will have the pleasure of discovering a Great Exhibitionas well as different zooms. On the main exhibition side, we are tackling the Fnac photo collectionpreserved at Nicéphore Niepce museum (aka the dad of the photo), in collaboration with AFP. The opportunity to discover key works of the 80s, 90s and 2000s.

On the zoom side, we are interested in different themes. Sportsfirst of all, to extend a little the magic of the Olympicsand illustrate the very strong links between art and physical practice. For this, we benefit from 3 exhibitions, one of which consists only photos taken during the gamex, and one dedicated to the outfielder Mathieu Forgetknown for its famous levitating poses. The opportunity also to take advantage of photos winning certain prizesor the shocking display of Jérémy Lampin, To arms, et cetera, the wounds of the soul of French soldierswhich illustrates the consequences of post-traumatic stress.

All the secrets of photography revealed

Whether you are professionals or amateurs, beginners or experiencedthe Photo Salon will also allow you to perfect your techniqueand find all the tips for who knows, finish, you too, on the walls of the Grande Halle. For this, you will find stands run by more than 100 big names in photographyhere to tell you about their innovations and their practices. Different conferences will also be organized by theme, and dedicated to the general public, professionals, or even young content creators.

And if photography has always tempted you, but you haven’t never dared to go behind the lensno worries, you will also find your happiness through workshopsto learn to master the basics of photographyor certain particular techniques. And, of course, the Sales Village will allow you to find everything you might need in terms of equipment, whether new or second hand !
