Brestois Yann Cozic took an extremely rare photo with this Rafale in exercise in Landivisiau, against the backdrop of a full moon. He explains to us behind the scenes of this surprising image captured from Plabennec, which is a hit on his Instagram. “The Rafale Marines from the Landivisiau base carried out simulated landings on the runway in September. It was necessary to calculate and estimate their trajectory to position themselves correctly. The image is complicated to obtain because the fighter plane can be higher or lower depending on its approach.” Its speed and the overexposure of the moon reflection do not make adjustment easier either. But when all the planets align, the photo session becomes a pure treat and leads to an image that the photographer passionate about aeronautics is happy to share with the readers of the Télégramme.
