She takes the audience into a world as melancholy as it is poetic, mixing delicacy and refinement within a dual Chinese and French culture. The painter Jia Juan Li is one of the most prominent Chinese female artists of her generation today. Distinguished by several leading international awards and after exhibiting in Japan, England, Belgium and the United States, she will be, in Lunéville, the guest of honor at the 42nd international autumn show which will take place opens this Saturday at the Reservoir.

“It will once again be a large-scale show,” explains Patrice Labbé, president of the Cercle Artistique des Painters Lunévillois. We will have 190 exhibitors including 33 sculptors, ceramists and master glassmakers.”

Gilles Fabre, Alain Richard and Jean Davo

If Jia Juan Li will exhibit 21 paintings at the Reservoir, a large place will also be given to contemporary masters including former prestigious guests of honor. We think of Berthet, Doutreleau, Gélis and even Adèle Bessy, to name but a few. The artist Arman will also be present with two original bronzes, the Roto Violin and the Cubist Violin. “We will have unique glass pieces by Zoritchak such as the work Life which he never exhibited.”
