“You are… the weak link!“. A phrase well known to fans of game shows who will recognize this cult show by reading these few words. This Wednesday, October 16, M6 marks the big return of “Weak Link” now presented by Vincent Dedienne, having succeeded Laurence Boccolini.
A highly anticipated moment for fans of the old version, which was then broadcast on TF1. M6 lifts the veil a little and broadcasts the first images of this return.
A video which serves as a trailer was published on the channel’s social networks and we can see the guests introducing themselves, one after the other. A first show which will see celebrities compete in a humorous tone.
And, among them, two representatives from our region with Camille Combal, originally from Gap and Marseillais Pierre-François Martin-Laval. The first is presented as “Camille, 19 years old, wolfdog“. The second: “Pierre-François, 6 years old, Marseille, pre-retirement“.
The two Provençals will notably face Shakira, a carer from Arcachon; Florence works manager or even Célestine a “baker and entertainer, possibly” of 102 years. Profiles just as fictitious as the first two – apart from their first names. The other guests of this first episode, under their real identity, are: Florence Foresti, Bérangère Krief, Melha Bedia, Bernard Campan, Bertrand Usclat and Clémentine Célarié.
M6 will broadcast a second round the same evening with 8 celebrities still competing. All will play for the same association, Women safe & Children.
The 2nd part of the evening will be devoted to “most memorable moments” of the game, according to a press release from M6 with exclusive interviews and archive images.
