PEagerly, collectors, professionals and other VIPs gathered Thursday morning, in front of the entrance to Palace 5 of Heysel, as if for the start of a marathon. At 11 a.m. sharp, the crowd was released and instantly spread into the vast aisles welcoming 177 galleries from 30 countries and presenting exclusively contemporary artists. And it is the only element that connects these women and men (more than 800) developing a multitude of practices and techniques of a very wide variety.

Art Brussels, until April 28, palaces 5 and 6 of Brussels Expo, Heysel plateau, www.artbrussels.com.
