The baptism of Louis and Pauline Ducruet: the cloudless happiness of Stéphanie and Daniel
Descriptive text here

The baptism of the children of Princess Stéphanie and Daniel Ducruet was celebrated in Monaco on April 17, 1995, in the small Sainte-Dévote chapel, dedicated to the patroness of the Rock. A memorable day for Louis and Pauline, born respectively on November 26, 1992 and May 4, 1994. The entire Grimaldi family was then gathered around the happy parents, and in particular Prince Albert and Princess Caroline, godfather and godmother of the charming blond heads. Guest of honor, Prince Rainier, whose radiant smile everyone noticed. The time of happy days…

Monaco, Easter Monday, April 17, 1995. A soft ray of sunlight surrounds the roofs of the Sainte-Dévote chapel. It’s 3:30 p.m. Several cars stop in front of the porch draped with a white canopy. Prince Rainier himself drives his Espace bleue; at his side, a single passenger, his son, Prince Albert. Some passers-by recognize the princely family, soon in full force. Albert rushes to his sister Princess Stéphanie, lovely in a pastel pink suit, and kisses her several times. Prince Rainier jokes with Daniel Ducruet after shaking his hand for a long time. Princess Caroline, accompanied by her children, Andrea, Charlotte and Pierre, in turn kisses Stéphanie. We thought they were angry. They demonstrate the opposite. The public, surrounded by a cordon of police officers, is growing… So what is the princely family doing here?
