It is this Thursday that the Sarthe bakery and pastry federation is organizing its competition dedicated to the best traditional baguette. New this year: for the first time, a competition of the best sandwich is organised.
The results of these two competitions will be revealed on the occasion of the bread festival and cereals which will be held at the Arche de la nature, this Sunday, May 5, 2024. Last year, it was the bakery Artisan Delightsin Yvré-l’Evêque, which won the competition.
Cafés Boc blows out its first candle
Just a year ago, Boc Cafes opened his second shop in Le Mans, rue du Docteur Leroy. A new stage in the history of the roaster whose history has been written since 1932.
A visit to the Roman baths
A guided tour dedicated to Roman baths, located under the ESAD-Talm Le Mans school of art and design, is organized this Thursday at 3 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Maison du Pilier Rouge.

A treasure hunt for children
Le Plongeoir-Cité du Cirque offers a free treasure hunt for children aged 5 to 11, this Thursday, at 2:30 p.m.
Accompanied by an adult, children will have to find the rings lost by the juggler by solving a series of puzzles. It’s also a way to discover places as a family.
