“Books and babies” is a cultural action plan, supported by the Department of Aveyron and implemented by its media library. It aims to promote the presence of quality albums among toddlers and the adults who accompany them, in a relationship of pleasure and through reading aloud. Ouest Aveyron Community has chosen to join this system in September 2022, for 3 years, through several of its structures. Training for childminders and activities in nurseries, MAMs, etc.
This is how on Friday April 26, Corinne Dreyfuss, children’s author and illustrator, came to meet the little ones from the childminder association “les Crapouilloux”.
She told a ladybug story and played with gestures around the reading to reinforce the magic and get the little ones involved. Secondly, she offered the children a workshop to awaken to creation. Whether common or surprising, all the objects offered allowed the children to give free rein to their desire to paint to create a large fresco.
