An 8-year-old boy died after being attacked by two dogs on Monday evening in central Florida, United States.
The victim was attacked near Deland, between Orlando and Daytona Beach, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office, which reported several calls to 911 to warn of this attack, according to what the “New York Post” reported. .
Despite attempts at cardiovascular resuscitation by residents of the neighborhood, the victim did not survive the savage attack of the two canines who were subsequently captured and handed over to an animal shelter.
“I don’t know what anyone can say to ease the immense pain this family is feeling tonight,” said Sheriff Mike Chitwood, quoted by the New York tabloid, according to which one of the two animals is a pit bull .
