Arriving at OL a little over a year ago, from Botafogo, at the same time as goalkeeper Lucas Perri, Brazilian defender Adryelson failed to establish himself, not taking part in everything and for all, only four matches with Pierre Sage’s team.

Returning to Botafogo for a four-month loan on September 2 to get back on track, Adryelson played eleven matches, winning the Brazilian championship and the Copa Libertadores, but had to return to Lyon at the beginning of January, where his horizons were clearly blocked.
The defender has agreed to be loaned out again, but this time in the Jupiler League, to SC Anderlecht. OL confirmed the operation via a press release. The 26-year-old central defender is committed until June 30, 2025. This loan includes a purchase option of €6 million as well as 10% interest on the capital gain of a future transfer.
Almada will now be able to sign for OL
His departure will free up a place for a non-EU player in the OL squad, which should benefit the Argentinian Thiago Almada, whose contract should soon be registered by the club.
