The IRM therefore issued a double yellow alert for fog and slippery conditions.
Yellow alert for slippery conditions throughout Belgium
Tonight and Monday morning, conditions could again be slippery locally, mainly in Flanders with the formation of freezing fog. In addition, the latest showers (mainly in the west and north of the country) will cause portions of wet roads with a later risk of icy patches.
The alert applies throughout Belgium from this Sunday 01/12 at 8 p.m. to Monday 01/13 at 11 a.m.
-Fog: yellow alert for Brussels, Walloon Brabant and Hainaut
Fog may again (locally) limit visibility to less than 200 m next night and Monday morning, mainly in Lower and Middle Belgium.
The alert is valid from this Sunday 01/12 at 8 p.m. to Monday 01/13 at 11 a.m.
