Supporters of the colonization of Gaza are only waiting for the green light from an Israeli government, some members of which are already campaigning for this option.

Perched on a hill in the West Bank, the Evyatar outpost is one of the most successful projects of recent Israeli territorial expansion. These precarious barracks, which house around twenty families, are both the symbol of religious idealism and, for its inhabitants, the outline of what they hope to see emerge in Gaza: Jewish colonies extending over the the entire territory.

The Evyatar project was born in 2021 on this hill located near the strategic crossroads of Tapouah, a nerve point connecting the axes leading to Nablus, Ramallah and Ariel, which was the scene of numerous attacks against Israeli civilians. Around a hundred settlers settled there but clashes with the army and police forced them to temporarily leave the area, only to return shortly afterwards. And in February 2024, their determination bore fruit: the outpost, established on land with a status disputed by the villages…
