At the head of Wan Services in the Bois Vert area in Ploërmel (Morbihan), Pierre Peltier and Jean-Christophe Urvoy have a busy agenda in 2025.
And for good reason, the pair is preparing to move. Nothing to scare them transport and moving specialists.
Ten months of work at Bois Vert
Indeed, the duo and the 170 employees, the majority of whom are made up of newspaper carriers will move into a brand new building on rue Roberval in a few months:
Delivery is expected before the end of the year if all goes well.
Because since their takeover in 2021, the company has grown further. Multiplying its vehicle fleet by four and increasing the number of employeesWan Services is asserting itself a little more every day in the fields of transport, moving, box rental and newspaper delivery.
New: parcel transport
Dropping out new markets particularly in the transport of packages and the delivery of furniture for an interior design brand, the Ploërmel-based company is giving itself the means to succeed: “We have hired a mechanic to manage our truck fleet, a Human Resources manager. We are in a phase of structuring and optimizing to best respond to our customers.”
The expansion was therefore necessary to provide comfort and security to all the teams: “We will have two real platforms for heavy goods vehicles, one direction of traffic, and offices upstairs to make the best use of our floor space. »
And 900m building2 adjoining the Arland company, manufacturer of agricultural sprayers which will also accommodate boxes (8, 12 or 33m3) that the bosses offer for rental.
