Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines could become the future playground of PSG. The city is a finalist to host a stadium with more than 60,000 seatsaccompanied by a global project including hotels, shops, and leisure areas. An ambitious candidacy that could transform the territory.

Among the four sites still in competition, Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines caught the attention of PSG leaders. The project provides for land 50 hectares in Montigny-le-Bretonneuxclose to the national Vélodrome and the leisure island. “This is an exceptional opportunity for the city after events like the Ryder Cup and the 2024 Olympic Games,” says Jean-Michel Fourgous, president of SQY.
An ambitious and multifunctional project
The future PSG stadium will not just be a sporting venue. It will also include hotelsof the shopsof the restaurantsand parking lots to meet the needs of supporters and visitors. “This project will create a center of activity with an international scope,” explains Jean-Michel Fourgous.
Decision expected in 2025 for a major project
The final response for hosting the future stadium should be known at first quarter 2025. If Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines is selected, the work could last ten yearswith particular attention paid to environmental impact. A major challenge, but one worthy of the ambitions of PSG and the city.
