In a video that made the rounds on social networks, we can see a 45-year-old man who was on the platform of a metro station near the 18e avenue, at 1:30 p.m.
A hooded individual pushed the forty-year-old onto the metro tracks just before the train passed.
The victim survived the violent attack with only a head injury, local police told New York Post.
“By the hand of God himself, he fell perfectly into the trench,” a police source told the American media.
The attacked man was taken to a hospital to treat his injuries. We don’t fear for our lives.
The suspect, aged 23, fled the station, but was arrested a few hours later, police said.
