He indicated that “more than 300“of its candidates, out of 489 invested, who are running under the banner”Together for the Republic“, were qualified for the second round, and that “in several hundred constituencies“, they would be “present in the second round“.
Gabriel Attal wished “deprive the extreme right of an absolute majority by building an Assembly where we will have sufficient weight to build, between republican forces, majorities of projects and ideas“.
“Not a single vote should go to the National Rally in such circumstances. France deserves that we do not hesitate. Never. If we want to live up to the French destiny, it is our moral duty to do everything to prevent the worst from happening.“, explained the head of government.
“My personal history, as much as my political journey, leads us today and before you, to stand up with all my strength against the disastrous project of the extreme right” he continued. “It would reduce our values to nothing, considerably weaken our country and only add misery to misfortune for our fellow citizens who are suffering.“.
