The victim is a 58-year-old Canadian man, according to New York police. She refused medical treatment due to a minor cut on her wrist, police said.

The armed robber reportedly approached the Canadian on foot at the corner of MacDougal and Bleecker streets in Manhattan’s popular Greenwich Village neighborhood, the New York Post.

He allegedly threatened him with his gun, demanding that the man hand over his luxury watch.

The bandit stole the watch as well as a bracelet worth $2,000 before joining a colleague traveling on a scooter and boarding his motorcycle.

According to several sources and the police, the suspect has not yet been found.

This attack occurred a few days after a first robbery which allegedly took place in front of the upscale Italian restaurant Carbone, a few blocks away, on June 18.

Two individuals on scooters took a Patek Phillipe watch worth $100,000 from a 39-year-old man by threatening him with a weapon, according to law enforcement.

It is not yet clear whether the two events are linked, the New York Post.
