a human finger in his scoop of ice cream. It was via a delivery application that his sister placed the order for him. His surprise was therefore enormous when he came across a part of a human body.
Terribly shocked, Dr. Orlem spoke on YouTube. In his story, he says that when he wanted to put his mouth on the ice cream, he felt something unusual and immediately spat out what looked like a finger. “I ordered three ice cream cones on an app. One of them was a Yummo brand caramel ice cream. After eating half of it, I felt a solid piece in my mouth. I thought it might be a nut or a piece of chocolate and I spat it out to check what it was.“, he explained.
A complaint filed
According to media reports, the doctor and his sister immediately contacted the police and filed a complaint. The finger was sent to the laboratory for a forensic examination. But then what happened to cause this finger to end up in this ice cream cone? The Mumbai Police confirmed that they are taking this matter very seriously. She believes that this discovery is also crime-related.
For his part, the owner of the Yummo Ice Creams brand admitted on Wednesday to having received his customer’s complaint. While waiting for the matter to be resolved, he made the decision to
stop manufacturing of his ice cream. “We have stopped manufacturing at this facility, isolated said product and are in the process of doing the same at the market level.” said a company spokesperson. The manufacturer also stated that it was cooperating with the police to understand the circumstances of this tragedy.
